ACB Gujarat nabs office clerk of Dahegam municipality in a bribe case

Dahegam: Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB) had received the information that the employee working in the birth, death and marriage registration branch of Dahegam municipality demands a bribe between Rs 1000 to 1500 per marriage certificate. They repeatedly call and delay the work if the bribe is not paid, as per the information received.
To verify the information, ACB planned a decoy trap. The accused office clerk Rohitbhai Chimanlal Shah was found taking a bribe of Rs 3000 for 2 marriage certificates from the decoyer during the decoy trap executed by ACB. The accused is detained. DeshGujarat
