Railway officials at Ekta Nagar hire a car to ferry a single passenger of cancelled train to Vadodara

Vadodara: For Satyam Gadhvi, a student of Aerospace Engineering in IIT Madras, it was an unimaginable service offered by the Indian Railways.

Gadhvi had booked a train to travel from the Statue of Unity fame Ekta Nagar in Central Gujarat to Vadodara from where he was going to take a further rail journey. However due to very heavy rains, the portions of the railway track connecting Ekta Nagar to Vadodara had been washed out.

As the train to Vadodara was cancelled, the Railway officials hired a car for a single passenger Gadhvi and ferried him to Vadodara from Ekta Nagar timely so that he could board another train from Vadodara to his final destination in South of India.

Gadhvi in a video thanked Railway officials at Ekta Nagar and Vadodara and said the railway officials helped him even in Vadodara. DeshGujarat
