Nazir Vora arrested in Juhapura; 30th crime filed against him

Ahmedabad: Vejalpur police have again nabbed Nazir Vora of Juhapura, this time in a case of giving death threats to a woman.
Nazir Vora and his accomplices had allegedly spoken abusive words and gave death threats to a female named Samimbanu Shaikh, an ice merchant near Sonal road in Juhapura. Nazir Vora, and his accomplices, allegedly tortured and gave death threats to her frequently for four months. Vejalpur police nabbed him in this case and started the procedure for getting his remands.
Total 29 crimes were filed against Nazir Vora previously and it was the 30th crime filed against him at the Vejalpur police station. He was nabbed as a fugitive for four times and put in jails under PASA for five times. His criminal history started from the year 1994. He has been previously booked in the cases including threats, ransom, attempt to murder, usurping properties and other cases. The team of police and corporation recently demolished many illegal properties of Nazir Vora. He is also accused of electricity theft. The illegal electricity connections were found from his home and farm house.
