ACB Gujarat nabs a cop in a bribery case of Rs. 1,000

Mahesana: Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat has nabbed ASI of Vijapur police station in Mehsana district in a bribe case of Rs 1000.
The complainant had filed a case in the court under Negotiable Instrument Act section 138. The court had issued an arrest warrant for the case. The complainant contacted the accused ASI Karansinh Magansinh Chauhan to nab the accused by executing the arrest warrant.
The accused ASI demanded a bribe of Rs 1000 for the same. The complainant contacted ACB through toll free number 1064 as he was not willing to pay the bribe. The accused ASI was found taking a bribe of Rs 1000 from the complainant during a trap executed by ACB. The accused is detained.
