Riverfront in Surendranagar to be extended; 900 meter length to be added

Surendranagar: Surednragar – Dudhrej – Vadhwan municipality in its general board meeting took decision to approve several new works worth crores of Rupees. One of decision taken was to extend the riverfront in the city to bus-stand. The riverfront at present is between the district panchayat to Arts college. Its 900 meter extention will take place at a cost of Rs. 8.90 crore. The local body decided to install the statues of Rani Lakshmibai and cow and calf at two places. A Mahila haat will be set up under the over bridge.
