Manhar Udhas and several other artists join BJP as part of the membership drive

Gandhinagar: Famous Ghazal Singer Manhar Udhas along with several other prominent Gujarati artists joined ruling Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) today, at Gujarat BJP headquarters ‘Shri Kamalam’.

Manhar Udhas, who has made his mark in the world of music with his songs and ghazals, dawned Kesariya at the hands of the state president CR Patil, Udhas joined BJP under its membership campaign by giving a missed call on the dedicated number. He also performed famous song from film Karma ‘Aye Watan Tere Liye’ at the party headquarters.

Music director Maulik Mehta, Actor Sunil Visrani, Singers and twin sisters Mausam Mehta and Malka Mehta, singer Payal Shah, Film Actor Yash Barot, Kartik Dave, Janhvi Chauhan and Sonal Vyas, Film & Drama Actor Ashish Kupala also dawned the Kesariya in the same event.

BJP’s membership drive was launched in Gandhinagar Kamalam on 7th June by state president CR Patil. In which some Gujarati film actors joined the BJP.

A day ago, Manhar Udhas’s ‘Aasman’ Ghazal album was released at AMA in Ahmedabad.
