GUVNL to make online payment of Rs. 10,000 plus power bills compulsory

Vadodara: Madhya Gujarat Vij Company ltd. (MGVCL) has made online bill payment mandatory for all industries and consumers with high tension and low tension connections. Soon, all other State-run power distribution companies (discoms) will also follow the same pattern. From August 22, all energy bills exceeding Rs 10,000 must be paid online by all categories of consumers, according to the MGVCL notice.
