Rathwas celebrate govt circular over grant of ST certificate

Vadodara: The state government has issued a circular instructing to issue the certificate of scheduled tribe (ST) to Rathwa, Rathva Koli, and Koli Rathva communities by considering them as Rathwa community.
The demands were being made for the last 7 years for the decision. The state government released the circular on 4th August. The leaders of tribal community from all the political parties had made the demand.
The ST certificate will be issued by checking the proofs regarding affidavit, ascent, marital relations etc, and based on the tradition, social and religious rituals, culture, deities, festival celebration, attire, physical structure and so on instead of the caste related word in revenue records and other evidence.
