Gandhinagar: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will celebrate Janmashtami with family in home-state Gujarat.
Union home minister Amit Shah reached Ahmedabad at night on Thursday. He encouraged the ‘Gandhinagar Loksabha- Hariyali Loksabha’ campaign in Gandhinagar constituency and inaugurated the tree plantation drive at Nakshatra Van in Nardipur village near Kalol on Janmashtami.

He guided the local karyakars, public representatives and institutions to encourage the campaign in every village with a pledge of nurturing atleast one tree by each family.
He is likely to visit Vaishnav Haveli in Vastrapur for darshan on Shri Krishna Janmotsav. He will return to Delhi in the morning on Saturday. DeshGujarat
