Medha Patkar to be AAP’s CM face in Gujarat: BJP’s Suresh Nakhua

Gandhinagar: Suresh Nakhua, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson of Mumbai city, claimed that Aam Aadmi Party might announce Social activist Medha Patkar as their Chief Ministerial candidate for the upcoming Gujarat Assembly Election.

Nakhua in a tweet today said, “If what sources say is to be believed Anti India, anti-development, Anti Gujarat Medha Patkar to be announced as Kejriwal Lok Pal Dal’s CM face in Gujarat.”

As the assembly election approaches the state, the AAP is looking to spread its wings here by roping in candidates of different backgrounds.

Notably, Patkar is an old ally of AAP and had contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections on Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) ticket.

Yesterday only, Without mentioning the name Gujarat CM had asked the people of Kutch to keep in mind who had given a Lok Sabha ticket to Medha Patkar in 2014.
