Accused had fraudulently gained sim card to defame Surat district BJP president

Surat: Bardoli Police on 6th September registered a complaint against three and detained one for making tempered personal pictures of Surat district BJP president Sandeep Desai viral.
During the investigation, the police came to know that one Hiren Desai, a resident of Navsari was responsible for making tempered pictures of the Surat BJP Chief viral on social media.
Police official said, “The accused Hiren Desai had activated the dummy sim card from somebody else’s name and used that for this wrongdoing. The complainant Sandeep Desai’s vacation pictures were made viral. As of today, one accused named Sandeep Shukla Lodi is arrested.”
Photos of Sandeep Desai with a woman bathing in a swimming pool during vacation were made viral. Desai later went to the Bardoli police with the complaint.
