September 06, 2022
Palanapur: The Hindu organizations held a rally in Deesa on Saturday with demand to handover a Hindu man’s family members who were taken away after their religious conversion by certain Muslims. The State government has handed over this case to Anti Terrorist Squad(ATS) as the local police has failed to find the accused in urgent manner.
The accused, Ejaz Mustufabhai Shaikh from Rajpur Gavadi of Disa taluka, trapped a Hindu female from Malgadh in an affair and married her. He then allegedly brainwashed her brother and mother and did their religious conversions. The accused then escaped with them. The father of the Hindu female tried to commit suicide. Palanpur east police had booked five Ejaz Mustufabhai Shaikh, Mustufa Papabhai Shaikh, Alam Papabhai Shaikh, Satar Abdulbhai Haji and Sohil Sattarbhai Shaikh. Two of them are nabbed already.
The Hindu organisations held a rally to protest over this case. They gave an ultimatum to handover the Hindu man’s family within 24 hours. The Hindu leaders including Hindu leader and MLA Shashikant Pandya remained present in the rally. They also demanded to find the accused. However, the accused and the Hindu man’s family are not yet found. DeshGujarat
