Opening ceremony of 36th National Games at Narendra Modi stadium in Gujarat on September 27

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister today in a meeting reviewed the preparedness for the 36th National Games that are going to be played in Gujarat.
About 8,000 players from 36 States and UTs will participate in National Games across six cities of Gujarat at 17 locations. An executive committee has been formed under the leadership of Chief Secretary of State. Secretary level officials are given responsibility of city committees in six cities.
About one and half lakh people will gather at Narendra Modi Stadium on 27 September for inauguration of National Games. Concluding function will be held on 12 October at Indoor stadium in Surat.
Activation in school colleges will take place during 12-16 September, Sports carnival will take place during 15-25 September. Mascot rally will be held during 22-19 September. DeshGujarat
