Heavy to Very Heavy rainfall, thunderstorm with lightning in next 5 days in Gujarat : IMD forecast

Gandhinagar: According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Gujarat, Heavy rains, light thunderstorm with lighting are expected at isolated places in Gujarat in next five days.

On 10th September, Heavy rains at isolated places are very likely in the districts of the South Gujarat region namely Dangs, Valsad and in Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli; in the district of Saurashtra namely Junagadh, Amreli, and Gir Somnath.

Light thunderstorm with lightning and surface wind less than 40 kmph (in gust) accompanied with light to moderate rain very likely at isolated places in all the districts of Gujarat region, Saurashtra-Kutch and in Diu, Daman Dadra Nagar Haveli.

On 11th September: Heavy rains at isolated places are very likely in the districts of the South Gujarat region namely Chhota Udepur, Narmada, Surat, and Tapi; in the district of Saurashtra namely Rajkot, Porbandar, Junagadh, Amreli, Gir Somnath and in Diu.

Heavy rains at isolated places are very likely in the districts of the North Gujarat region namely Kheda, Ahmedabad, Anand, Panchmahal, and Dahod; in the districts of Saurashtra namely Rajkot, Junagadh, Amreli, Gir Somnath, and Botad.

On 14th September: Heavy to very heavy rains at isolated places are very likely in the districts of the South Gujarat region namely Bharuch, Surat, Navsari, Valsad and in Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli; in the districts of Saurashtra namely Amreli, Bhavnagar and Gir Somnath.

Heavy rains at isolated places are very likely in the districts of the Gujarat region namely Kheda, Ahmedabad, Anand, Vadodara, Chhota Udepur, Dang, and Tapi; in the districts of Saurashtra namely Surendranagar, Rajkot, Junagadh, Morbi, and Botad.

Light to moderate rain/thundershower towards Evening/Night are very likely in Ahmedabad today.
