Contrary to AAP’s claim of 700, Not a single employee regularised: Gujarat BJP leader quoting RTI

Gandhinagar: Gujarat BJP media cell convener, Dr. Yagnesh Dave, on Monday, contradicted the Aam Aadmi Party’s claim of regularising 700 contractual employees in the Delhi Jal board. The RTI reply from the Delhi Jal Board says that no regularisation is done so far.

Dr. Yagnesh Dave tweeted two images and wrote, “Liar AAP had highly promoted a photo of giving a regular job in Jal board to 700 employees in February. But RTI shows that no contractual employees were regularised so far.”

As per the RTI reply, the Delhi Jal Board under the Government of NCT of Delhi, on 28th July 2022, replied that no contractual employees have been regularised by the office. On the other hand, the Delhi government had claimed it had regularised 700 contractual Jal Board employees. The news article includes a photo showing Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal handing over a certificate to an employee at an event for the regularisation of employees.
