Heavy to Very Heavy rainfall in many places of Gujarat in next 3 days : IMD

Gandhinagar: According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Gujarat, “Heavy to very heavy rains, and thunderstorms with lighting are expected at many isolated places in Gujarat in the next five days.”

On 12th September, Heavy to very heavy rains at isolated places very likely in the districts of the South Gujarat region namely Bharuch and Surat.

Heavy rains at isolated places are very likely in the districts of the Gujarat region namely Banaskantha, Mehsana, Sabarkantha, Gandhinagar, Vadodara, Chhotaudepur, Narmada, Dangs, Navsari, Valsad, and Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli; in the districts of Saurashtra namely Rajkot, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Gir Somnath and in Diu.

Light thunderstorm with lightning and surface wind less than 40 kmph (in gust) accompanied with light to moderate rain very likely at isolated places in all the districts of Gujarat region, Saurashtra-Kutch and in Diu, Daman Dadra Nagar Haveli.

On 13th September: Heavy to very heavy rains at isolated places very likely in the districts of the Gujarat region namely Anand and Vadodara.

Heavy rains at isolated places are very likely in the districts of the Gujarat region namely Kheda, Ahmedabad, Panchmahal, Chhotaudepur, Narmada, Bharuch Navsari, Valsad and in Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli; in the districts of Saurashtra namely Amreli, Bhavnagar, Gir Somnath, and in Diu.

Light thunderstorm with lightning and surface wind less than 40 kmph (in gust) accompanied with light to moderate rain very likely at isolated places in all the districts of Gujarat region, Saurashtra-Kutch and in Diu, Daman Dadra Nagar Haveli.

On 14th September, Heavy rains at isolated places are very likely in the districts of the South Gujarat region namely Navsari, Valsad and in Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli; in the districts of Saurashtra namely Junagadh, Gir Somnath, and in Diu.

On 15th September, Heavy rains at isolated places are very likely in the districts of the South Gujarat region namely Surat, Dangs, Navsari, Valsad, and Tapi and in Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli.

On 16th September,  Heavy rains at isolated places are very likely in the districts of the South Gujarat region namely Navsari, Valsad, Tapi, and Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli.

Light to moderate rain/thundershower is very likely in Ahmedabad today.
