ACB Gujarat nabs GAS cadre officer from Navsari in Bribe case

Navsari: Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat has nabbed a district supply officer of Navsari in a bribe case of Rs 1,00,000.
The complainant runs the business of LDO (Light Diesel Oil) and lubricant. The accused district supply officer Vishal Rajkumar Yadav had stopped the Tata Icer Car of the complainant with LDO in it on 8th September 2022 and checked the license, bill and other documents. The accused let the car go after checking documents. The accused later demanded a bribe of Rs 1,00,000 from the complainant.
The complainant contacted ACB as he was not willing to pay the bribe. The accused was found taking a bribe of Rs 1,00,000 during a trap executed by ACB. The accused is detained.
