Rs 877.8 Crore Tender allocated for Multi Model Transportation Hub at Surat Railway Station

Surat: The tender worth Rs 877.8 crore is allocated for setting up the Multi-modal transportation hub at Surat Railway Station and the hub will be ready in 4 years, stated Minister of State for Railways & Textiles Darshana Jardosh in a series of tweets.
She stated that this hub will be ready in 4 years and bring Bus, Rail, BRT at one place. The Central and State Government and Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) are working as partners in this project, she added.
She further stated that the unique Multi-modal transportation hub project will make inter and intra city transport seamless. She added, “My heartfelt gratitude to Hon’ble PM Shri @narendramodi ji for his valuable guidance and support for Surat.” DeshGujarat
