Gandhinagar: In the build-up to the assembly elections to be held later this year, Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) is likely to launch Gujarat Gaurav Yatra this month.
The Gaurav Yatra is likely to take place in all five zones of the state. Each zone-wise yatra will go on for ten days. Union HM Amit Shah, CM Bhupendra Patel and State BJP President C R Patil, along with national leaders of the party will flag off this yatra.
BJP workers and leaders will go to the people of Gujarat during this Gaurav Yatra and inform them about the work and schemes of the Union and State Governments of the BJP.
BJP also held a similar Gujarat Gaurav Yatra in the last assembly elections of 2017. Congress party also started the ‘Congress Ke Saath, Ma Ke Dwar’ Yatra to reach out to the Patidar community last week.
