Sola Police arrest one for spreading rumor on kidnapping of children

Ahmedabad: Sola Police in the city has arrested a person namely Bimal Patel under the relevant section of IPC 501 for spreading rumor. According to Police Inspector – The person had made viral a message and tweeted that there had been two incidents today in two separate residential societies in which attempts were made to kidnap the children. When checked by police, no such incident was found to have taken place. Due to such messages, the parents and school goers were caught in fear. Therefore a twitter account holder was booked under section 501 and arrested. DeshGujarat
