NCW serves notice to Gujarat AAP chief

New Delhi: The National Commission for Women has served a notice to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Gujarat chief Gopal Italia over using an indecent word for Prime Minister which is also an insult to the women.
The NCW has in its notice stated that the abusive language used by Italia is gender biased, misogynistic and extremely shameful and condemnable.
NCW has asked Italia to appear before the Commission in person on 13th of October at 12.30 pm and pointred out that in default, the Commission may proceed to take such action as it deems fit.
The notice has been served by Barnali Shome, Under Secretary of NCW. It’s worth noting that Italia had used ‘C’ word in his video against Prime Minister Modi.
