Bharuch: Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi while addressing in Bharuch today cautioned the people of Gujarat against entry of Urban Naxals in the State in different form.
In his address after launching various development initiatives, Prime Minister Modi said, “I remember days when some people had applied full strength to block the development of Bharuch. They had obstructed industries and their expansion here. Narendra – Bhupendra double engine shakti eliminated all these blockages. They even obstructed the Bhadbhut barrage water project which was meant to supply water and arrest the progress of salinity.”

He added, “They had earlier attempted to block the Sardar Sarovar project. These Urban Naxals are trying entry in a new form. They have changed their outlook and misleading innocent, energetic youths in different form. I want to tell tribal people, Naxalism destroyed the life of tribals in many States.”
He said, “(as a Chief Minister) I had decided I wouldn’t allow Naxalism in my eastern tribal belt and would work hard for that, and therefore we started development drive. Tribals here supported me. Naxalism couldn’t enter Gujarat through that path, but now Naxals are flying from top and entering the State. We will not allow the young generation to get persuaded by them. We will move forward with the belief that Gujarat will not bow to them, Gujarat will raze them (Urban Naxals) to ground.”
