PM Narendrabhai Modi to open National Urban Housing Conclave in Rajkot

Rajkot: During his visit to the city on October 19, Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi will open the national urban housing conclave at Shastri ground. More than 3,000 delegates are likely to participate in this conclave The Prime Minister will inaugurate Rs. 118 crore light house project for which he had also performed ground breaking a few years ago. The best performers in housing sector will be felicitated during the conclave with award. An exhibition will be held on the sidelines of conclave to display the best practices adopted by various states and innovative construction technology. According to Rajkot Mayor Pradip Dav, Standing Committee Chairman Pushkar Patel and Municipal Commissioner Amit Arora, the conclave on 20th October will discuss, slum redevelopment, slum integration , affordable housing, energy efficiency, smart building, sustainable housing and more.
