ACB action if Govt officials receive Diwali Gift as bribe

Gandhinagar: Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat will take strict actions against the government officials and employees found taking bribes in the form of gifts during Diwali festival, as per a statement from ACB.
The assistant directors and police inspectors of fields and all the units of ACB are instructed to keep watch secretly to find out the government officials and employees taking bribes in the form of gifts during Diwali, as per the statement. A special team is formed at all the police stations of ACB. A list of such officials and employees is prepared and the watch is being kept secretly at their residence, it adds. The crime will be filed against the employees and officials under Prevention of Corruption Act, who are found taking bribes in the form of gifts during Diwali.
