I want my own record to be broken this time in Gujarat : PM Narendrabhai Modi in Kaprada

Kaprada (Valsad): Addressing the first campaign rally of the ruling BJP in poll-bound Gujarat after the announcement of the election dates here, Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi said, not Narendra or Bhupendra but the people are fighting this election with the spirit of ‘Vaaramvaar Bhajap’ (BJP again and again). The people are out with the victory flag of the BJP (in their hands). The PM said that he hears it in Delhi and everywhere that this time the people of Gujarat have themselves decided to form the BJP government once again in Gujarat, and not just that but they are out to make BJP victorious by breaking all old records.

The PM said he would give whatever length of his time is demanded by Gujarat BJP (for the campaign) as he wants to break his own record (of 127 seats to BJP in the year 2022 State assembly polls). The PM said – ‘I want to break my own record. Bhupendra’s record should be more fantastic compared to Narendra’s, and I want to work for that. Would you help me in doing so? Will the tribals from Umargam to Ambaji help me in this task?’

The PM recalled Gujarat before two decades and said the State rose from instability. There was an earthquake and the people would think that Gujarat would never rise again. There were riots. Peace and businesses were affected. But we Gujaratis jointly made our Gujarat which shines worldwide. PM continued and said – Each Gujarati is voicing from his/her inner core – ‘Aa Gujarat Me Banavyu Chhe’ (I have made this Gujarat).

The PM spoke about the journey of the progress of farmers, fishermen, and tribals under the BJP, and for each of those communities, the PM chanted ‘Aa Gujarat ….’, while the rest of the sentence … ‘Me Banavyu Chhe’ was chanted by the people present in the public meeting. PM said we have only one message ‘Aa Gujarat Me Banavyu Chhe’.

The PM said – those who hate Gujarat, those who have tried to defame Gujarat, they are going to be wiped out by the people. The people of Gujarat know the anti – Gujarat groups since long and Gujaratis never fall into their trap of them for the last two decades. Those people get surprised that why after their all propaganda and efforts, the people of Gujarat don’t fall into their trap.

Referring to BJP’s election symbol ‘Lotus’ the PM said, Lotus is our candidate and Lotus has brought prosperity to Gujarat.

The PM recalled his days when he would roam through the jungle of Southern Gujarat. He also expressed a wish to visit a new hospital in Dharampur which he had inaugurated virtually. The PM started his speech by mentioning Tadkeshwar Mahadev and thanked Gujarat BJP for arranging his first campaign rally for upcoming State assembly polls in the tribal area. The PM said, for him, ‘A’ is for Adivasi.

The PM once again reiterated the spirit of the nation’s development through Gujarat’s development. He said he’s happy that after he went to Delhi Bhupendrabhai, CR Patil and others continued working hard for Gujarat’s progress. The PM said that the Gujarat of today is formed through hard work of the people. He said the people of Gujarat are not those who would extend a hand to seek but they would extend their hand to give. The PM spoke about Gujarat’s development journey with tribal areas in focus and mentioned the Estol water project, schools, colleges, universities medical colleges, science classes, ITIs in the tribal belt, water and irrigation projects, the welfare of fishermen, and more.
