AAP Surat East Candidate Kanchan Jariwala Withdraws Nomination

Surat: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate from Surat East assembly seat has withdrawn his nomination. Kanchan Jariwala, who was AAP candidate for this seat released a video and gave a statement in Gujarati, in which he stated:

‘Namaskar friends. I am Kanchanlal Jariwala. I want to state that I filed a nomination for the Surat East assembly seat and started the campaign. During the campaign, the people in my area would time and again tell me that you are anti-national and anti-Gujarat, and because of the party you have chosen, we are not going to support you. With such a response from the people in my area, my inner core was shattered. And by listening to my inner voice, I decided not to contest from such an anti-national and anti-Gujarat party. I have withdrawn my nomination for this seat without any pressure and allurement.’
