Mahesh Vasava withdraws nomination from Jhaghadia seat in favor of father Chhotubhai

Bharuch: Finally, the father-son competition for candidature on Jhaghadia seat ended. Bharatiya Tribal Party (BTP) founder Chhotu Vasava had filed a nomination as a candidate on the Jhaghadia seat in the rural-tribal pocket of Bharuch district. His son Mahesh Vasava, President of BTP had also filed a nomination for candidature on the same seat. On the last date of withdrawal of nomination today, Mahesh Vasava withdrew his nomination form and declared support to his father Chhotu Vasava. While father Chhotu Vasava is sitting legislator from Jhaghadia seat, his son Mahesh is MLA from Dediapada seat. Mahesh had initially insisted to contest from Jhaghadia and announced his name for the seat. However father Chhtoubhai had also insisted to contest from the same seat. Both father-son had filed nominations but finally, today Mahesh Vasava withdrew his candidature.
