PM Narendrabhai Modi expresses grief over passing away of his school teacher

Gandhinagar: Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi today in a tweet expressed grief over the passing away of his school teacher Rasbihari Maniyar.

The Prime Minister in his tweet stated: I am deeply saddened to hear the news of the death of my school teacher Rasbihari Maniyar. I have been associated with him till this stage of life and as a student, I have the satisfaction of having his guidance throughout my life.

There are number of examples to show that the Prime Minister has not forgotten his school teachers. He had in fact held a function in Gujarat College ground of Ahmedabad when he was the Chief Minister and felicitated his teachers from school life. Even during his Gujarat visits, he has not missed opportunities to meet his teachers on various occasions.
