ACB Gujarat nabs staffer of Company Registrar office in Bribe Case

Ahmedabad: Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat has nabbed a person from the multi-tasking staff of the registrar of companies office in Ahmedabad in a bribe case involving the sum of Rs one thousand.

The complainant contacted the accused Walter Simon Pateliya at the office to get certified copies of the memorandum of satisfaction certificate of the company and form 17. The accused asked for money for chalan to get certified copy and a bribe to issue it quickly. The complainant contacted ACB as he was not willing to pay the bribe. The accused was found taking a bribe of Rs 1000 from the complainant during a trap executed by ACB. The accused is detained. DeshGujarat
