Dhanarak Kamurta period begins today as per Gujarati Calendar

Gandhinagar: Dhanarak Kamurta period started today 16th December, Friday, as per the Gujarati calendar of Vikram Samvat.
As per Hindu Jyotish Shastra, no auspicious events like marriages, griha pravesh, vastu, purchase of land and vehicle, inauguration, and khat muhurat should be scheduled during kamurta period.
Dhanarak Kamurta started today on Friday- 16th December as Surya (sun) entered Dhan Rashi today at 9.59 am. Dhanark Kamurta will be effective till 14th January 2023- Uttarayan festival.
