9 dead in highway accident in Navsari

The Fortuner car was going to Bharuch from Valsad, Meanwhile, the car jumped over a divider and smashed with a luxury bus returning from Pramukh Swami Nagar in Ahmedabad. The bus driver got a heart attack. Total 8 out of 9 people in the car, and 1 bus passenger died in the accident. Total 30 people are admitted to the hospital due to injuries.

PM Modi expressed condolence for the deceased in his tweet. He stated that an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh will be given to the next kin of each deceased and Rs 50 thousand will be given to each injured person.

   

It is believed that the car driver was about to fall asleep and caused the accident. Total 8 people in the car died, while one got multiple fractures. The bus passengers who were injured in the accident are admitted to Navsari civil hospital. The 11 severely injured people are taken to Navsari private hospital. The bus passengers are residents of Kolak in Valsad. They were returning to Valsad from Pramukh Swami Nagar in Ahmedabad. The passengers of the Fortuner car are employees of Pro-Life Chemo Pharma company in Ankleshwar.

7. Navnit Mohanbhai Bhadichadra (age 39, Nayvarnagar, Nana Varachha, Surat)
