Gang members of Bihar nabbed from Surat

Surat: Gang members from Katihar district of Bihar were held from Surat in Gujarat. They were hiding in Surat for last some time. Five accused of Mohna Thakur gang had killed the river Pinku Yadav gang’s four members in a land dispute matter in Katihar district of Bihar. They were hiding Kadodara in Surat. They were nabbed by Bihar Police’s Special Task Force and the Surat City Crime Branch of Gujarat Police. The accused had murdered rival gang members on 8 December last year. The gang war had taken place in Bhavanipur village over the dispute over land on the bank of river Ganga. The accused had dumped the dead bodies of Pinku Yadav gang in the river Ganga. Those arrested in Surat include Sumarkuvar Bhumihar (26), Dhirajsingh alias Mukesh Singh(19), Aman Tiwari (19), Abhishek alias Tiger Rai (21) all from Bakharpur village of Bhagalpur in Bihar. The accused were handed over to Bihar Police through transit remand. The gang of Mohan Thakur has also faced crime cases of murder, extortion, the attempt of murder, loot, and robbery among others.
