Demolition launched at Rama Pir Na Tekra in Vadaj to make a way for PM Awas Yojana

Amdavad: Ahmedabad Municipal corporation (AMC) is conducting demolition work against illegal construction today in the Vadaj area of the city.
According to the reports, illegal Kachha Houses are being vacated and demolished in Ramapir Na Tekra as houses under PM Awas Yojana are supposed to be built on this land.
The administration is demolishing the illegal buildings at Ramapir Na Tekra in the Vadaj area, amid heavy police arrangements. Zone-1 Police Officers of PSI level and SRP personnel are deployed in the area in case of some mishappening or friction among the people and authorities. DeshGujarat
