Amdavad: The Sabarmati Riverfront Development Corporation Ltd (SRFDCL) has invited proposals for the operation and maintenance of two new sports complexes in Paldi and Shahpur.
The executive director of SRFDCL, I K Patel, said that the civic body invited proposals for the operation and maintenance of the Shahpur and Paldi sports complexes. The last date for submitting proposals is February 13.
According to the sources, this move of the civic body comes after the row that erupted when it handed over all 14 gaming courts in the Paldi sports complex to the Ahmedabad Tennis Association for three years without a bidding process. DeshGujarat
