Mahesana: Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Gujarat Police has nabbed another Talati Mantri for demanding and taking bribe. The latest Talati to be trapped by ACB is Samit Babubhai Patel. He is the Talati Mantri of Gilosan gram panchayat and he is in charge of Nagalpur gram panchayat as well. He is booked for demanding Rs. 27,000 bribe and accepting Rs. 15,000 bribe. The trap was arranged near Modhera chokdi in Mahesana.

According to ACB, a complainant was seeking dakhla from Talati to make Akarni patrak for his house, for which, the accused demanded Rs. 27,000 bribe in two installments – Rs. 15,000 in advance and Rs. 12,000 after the job is done. As the complainant didn’t want to pay a bribe, be contacted ACB, following which a trap was arranged and the accused Talati Mantri was nabbed while accepting Rs. 15,000 bribe money. DeshGujarat
