GMRC announces 35% increase in trips of Ahmedabad Metro train

Ahmedabasd: The number of trips of Metro trains in Ahmedabad will increase by 35 percent with a new decision announced by the Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) Ltd.
According to a note released by GMRC today, presently Ahmedabad metro trains are operated at 15-minute frequency in peak hours and 18 minutes in non-peak hours from 7 am to 10 pm.
GMRC has now decided to operate metro trains at 12 minutes frequency continuously during 7 am to 10 pm which will result into 35% increase in the total number of trips. DeshGujuarat
