PM Narendrabhai Modi likely to visit Gujarat on June 5th

Surat: Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi is likely to visit Surat on June 5th. Though there is no official announcement about his visit, it is learned through the local sources that the Prime Minister will visit Antroli in Surat to monitor and review the ongoing works of the Mumbai – Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Project (bullet train project). Antroli on the outskirts of the city of Surat, the second largest city of Gujarat will have a bullet train station, construction of which is underway at present.

Antroli is located in Palsana taluka of Surat. The land prices here have skyrocketed due to the bullet train station. The farmers here were given four times the rate of land compared to the Jantri rate. The first phase of the bullet train project will complete between Antroli and Bilimora, possibly in the year 2024 with train operations of a bullet train. The bullet train station’s first and second floors are constructed so far. The administration has planned the Antroli-Saroli metro train project for connectivity to bullet train statin in Antroli.
