Bharuch police nabs father of 3 for raping Hindu women using Hindu names

Bharuch: The police have nabbed a man named Siraj Rustam Patel, a father of three children, for allegedly sexually harassing two Hindu females after trapping them in love on the pretext of marriage. The accused used two fake Hindu names, Mehul and Vipul, to befriend the girls.
Bharuch District Police Chief Mayur Chavda was instructed to maintain law and order in the district and to take legal action to prevent all types of crimes of sexual exploitation against women. Based on this, Deputy Chief of Police C. Police Inspector VK Bhutia and the staff of Bharuch Rural Police Station were on patrol under the guidance of K. Patel.
Meanwhile, it was reported that a person known as Siraj, aka Mehul Patel, raped a girl from the city by luring her into marrying him, falsely claiming that he was a Hindu.
Based on this information, the police set up a watch and nabbed Siraj. During the interrogation of this accused, he admitted that he had raped a girl by assuming the name Vipul. He had created a fake ID of a Hindu youth on Instagram to lure a college girl. Along with this, a bogus Aadhaar card named Mehul Patel was also created.
The Bharuch City police have detained the accused, who resides in Bapu Nagar of Paguthan village and is the father of three children. Further investigation is ongoing. Police are also searching for another Hindu girl who may have been the victim of the accused. DeshGujarat
