Udhna – Surat third railway line works complete

Surat: The work of the third railway line between Udhna and Surat railway station is completed.
The work of installation of the third railway line between Udhana and Surat had been ongoing for the last 3 years. After the installation of the third railway line, CRS will conduct an inspection. A trial will be undertaken after the CRS inspection before operating the trains on this line.
The trains from Jangaon Bhusawal to Hawda, Chennai and Puri will run on the third railway line. The trains arriving from Bhusawal to Surat will also run on the third railway line. It will decrease the traffic on Mumbai-Ahmedabad-Delhi main line. DeshGujarat
