Girnar Ropeway shut for last 12 days due to strong winds

Junagadh: A rope-way to Ambaji peak of Gujarat’s tallest mountain Girnar here is non-functional for about two weeks due to strong winds and unfavorable atmospheric conditions. A lot of pilgrims and tourists return without experiencing the rope-way ride due to this. As per the local observation, the rope-way may continue to remain shut for visitors for another 8 days. However contrary to the observation, if atmospheric and wind conditions turn favorable, the ropeway will resume its functioning.
