Gujarat likely to get third Vande Bharat train on Udhna (Surat) – Indore route

Gandhinagar: As per a news report, Gujarat may get another Vande Bharat train on Udhna(Surat) – Indore(Madhya Pradesh) route. The proposed train will pass through Vadodara and it will be operated daily barring on Tuesday. The train will have halts at Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Ratlam and Ujjain. it will leave Udhna at 1.55 pm and reach Indore on the same day at 9.30 pm. On the return journey, the train will leave Indore at 5.50 am and reach Udhna at 1.20 pm.
At present, Gujarat has two Vande Bharat trains. One connects Gandhinagar to Mumbai Central, while the other connects Ahmedabad to Jodhpur. Recently the minister of state for Railways, Darshana Jardosh had in a private BJP meet in Vadodara announced a plan afoot to start another Vande Bharat train in Gujarat, connecting Hapa (Jamnagar) to Vadodara.
