Chandrayaan-3: PM lands at Bengaluru from visit abroad, addresses ISRO scientists

Bengaluru: From his visit to South Africa and later Greece, Prime Minister Narendra Modi directly landed at Bengaluru and reached ISRO early in the morning to congratulate the scientists for the success of Chandrayaan-3 moon mission. PM Modi said the point on the moon where Chanrayaaan-3 lander landed is named as Shivshakti. PM Modi said the point where Chandrayaan-2 left its footprints on the moon shall be called Tiranga(tricolor).PM Modi also made an announcement to mark 23rd August every year in India as a National Space Day. PM called ISRO to organize a hackathon with the help of the ministries in the central and state governments on the use of Space science in governance. PM called the students to participate in the quiz on Chandrayaan mission from 1st September. PM also called the students to go through the ancient astronomy wisdom of India available in old scriptures. DeshGujarat
