Agitated Hindu man applies black paint over Salangpur murals, attack them with stick

Salangpur: An agitated Hindu man identified as Harshad Gadhvi from Charanki village near Ranpur in Saurashtra today at around noon attacked controversial murals of Hanuman ji at Salangpur. He was with a stick and black paint color which he applied over the controversial murals. Police nabbed him with minimum efforts. Anger is boiling among large number of Hindus across Gujarat and Sanatani sadhus over distortion of Hanuman ji in murals placed by Vadtal branch of Swaminarayan sect on the platform of recently unveiled ‘King of Salangpur’ statue. The mandir management has now decided to place barricades to prevent more agitators from going near the controversial murals.
