Jamnagar gets new Mayor

Jamnagar: Vinodbhai Khimsuriya has become the new Mayor of Jamnagar city. Krishnaben Sodha has been elected as his deputy. Nilesh Kagathara has been appointed as the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Jamnagar Municipal Corporation (JMC). Ashish Manubhai Joshi has been designated as the leader of the ruling party, and Ketanbhai Jayantilal has been appointed as the whip.
Khimsuriya is a councilor from Ward No. 16 of Jamnagar and was serving as a member of the Standing Committee.
As the terms of the current Mayor, Deputy Mayor, and Standing Committee Chairman in Jamnagar Municipality have expired today, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party announced new office bearers for the next two and a half years. The names were decided by the ruling BJP’s state parliamentary board in a series of meetings in Gandhinagar last week. DeshGujarat
