Amit Shah to inaugurate NIPER ‘s permanent campus in Gandhinagar

Gandhinagar: Union Home and Cooperation minister Amit Shah will inaugurate the permanent campus of the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Educational & Research (NIPER) – Ahmedabad on 30th September at Palaj in his Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency area in the presence of Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and union minister Mansukh Madaviya in the afternoon.  NIPER Ahmedabad was initiated in 2007 with three specializations Biotechnology, Natural Products, and Pharmaceutics, and over a period of time, three more specializations Pharmaceutical Analysis, Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacology, and Toxicology were added in 2010. Subsequently in 2011, to cater the needs of Medical device industry in India, another feather was added to the cap of NIPER Ahmedabad in the form of specialization in Medical Devices.
