Ahmedabad: Indigo airlines will start direct flight service connecting Ahmedabad and Agra on daily basis from October 29 this year. Indigo will use a 78-seater aircraft to operate on this route. Indigo had been operating on this route till early this year. The service on this route is now restored. Currently, there’s no direct flight operating by any operator on this route.

The direct flight service will cut the travel hours and bring down the airfare on this route from over Rs. 8,000 on-way fare to around Rs. 3500 one-way fare. The flight for Agra will leave SVPI airport in Ahmedabad at 10.40 am and reach Agra at 12.35 pm. It will leave Agra at 3.25 pm and reach Ahmedabad at 5.30 pm.

Winter schedule of all airlines will be effective from October 29. Many new flights are expected to start by various airlines connecting Gujarat. DeshGujarat
