Gujarat govt approves Rs. 226 crore for Surat – Navsari four lane road
October 11, 2023
Navsari: The Government of Gujarat has approved a four-track road connecting Surat to Navsari. The move is believed one step forward in direction to achieve the twin-city status for Surat and Navsari.
The State government has given in-principle approval for land acquisition and fixation of missing links on Surat – Navsari four lane highway.
According to Sandip Desai, a ruling party legislator from Choryashi, the widening of highway will require acquisition of land which belongs to some farmers. Also there will be a construction of flyovers. For these causes, thanks to the Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and local Lok Sabha member CR Patil, the State government has approved Rs. 226 crore in-principle. DeshGujarat
