Prabhas Patan: With a shifting of the Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) bus station to the parking area located opposite Gaushala on 31st October, more land is now available for development of infrastructure for pilgrims in the proximity of Somnath mandir here in the form of vacated bus station.
Somnath-Vijapur was first bus to depart from the new location of GSRTC bus station. It left Prabhas Patan at 10.15 am. The new bus station has an inquiry office, passenger shade, bus parking area, water, washrooms and other facilities.
More land for pilgrim infrastructure works is also available due to recently vacated Pathikashram (government guest house), the building of which had aged. DeshGujarat
