Diu: Diu’s first floating restaurant was inaugurated on Saturday. Tourists exploring Diu will now have the opportunity to enjoy a meal aboard a catamaran vessel docked at the Diu police jetty. The Mini Cruise restaurant, designed to accommodate 167 passengers, offers an upper deck for music concerts and a lower deck housing a restaurant and a beer bar.

Established through a public-private partnership (PPP), this project involves ownership and operation of the floating restaurant by DVS Global, sharing a portion of its revenue with the Union Territory, as per the agreement signed among Diu Smart City Limited, DVS Global, and the UT administration.
