Watch | EAM Jaishankar on working with Gujarati people and represent Gujarat as MP

Gandhinagar: EAM S. Jaishankar while speaking to students in Dubai on being asked about being surrounded by Gujarati people given PM and HM are from Gujarat ?

‘I like it … it’s for me quite interesting. We too had families from gujarat with whom we had family connections .. I find it a ‘very natural fit’ … they are the most global people …At times when India had less resources, Their are people who went all over the world and created footprints… they also have a strong community feeling.. it is natural the foreign minister is also elected from the state of Gujarat.’
